This one is the rarest of the rare.  There were only about 55 passenger cars built with Fuel Injection in 1959; only a handful still exist today.  I had never seen one until the Seattle Roadster Show in 2000.

Cars like this one, which is unrestored and has about 35,000 original miles, are collector's items that rarely get driven and rarely change hands.  And the people who usually acquire these have deep pockets!  Oddly, this one came up again for sale within a year of this show.  I guess the owner just doesn't appreciate the `59 like we do!
